Monic has fixed that problem by creating an extreme front taper on the double taper line. This helps smoothly transition the energy from the body of your fly line to the leader.
The best part is the new line is not only a floating line in the correct taper but CLEAR! That’s right it is clear and nearly invisible to fish.
